Spring Newsletter

At Bon Vivant, we are proud to say that we work with some of the finest brands available locally in the Northwest. This month, Portland will be playing host to the Good Food Foundation’s Mercantile event. This will be an afternoon showcasing many of the very best food brands available from artisan creators in our region. And of course, we partner with many of these brands in our local retailers to help them find a wider audience and greater recognition by the consumer.

The Good Food Foundation has a mission that closely resembles Lisa’s personal mission, which is “I am passionate about food- eating it, teaching it, and selling it. I want to make sure as many people as possible have access to higher-quality foods that expand their horizons and awaken their senses”

From The Good Food Foundation website: “The Good Food Foundation exists to celebrate, connect, empower and leverage the passionate and engaged, yet often overlooked, players in the food system who are driving towards tasty, authentic and responsible food in order to humanize and reform our American food culture.

Through five key programs – Awards, Guild, Alliance, Mercantile, and Fund– we build widespread support for the growers, ranchers, makers and merchants stubbornly swimming upstream to create and share the kind of food we all want to eat: tasty, authentic and responsible.”

Here is a sampling of some of the brands we work with who have been honored by this organization:

DEMOS RESUME IN EUGENE!!

We are very excited to announce that we have hired a new demo agent in the Eugene, Oregon area who will be starting in May. This means that we will be starting up demos in that area again, and now we will NOT have to charge any mileage surcharges for driving down there. This is a win-win and we are so excited to be able to get back into the wonderful retailers down there.

A little about Courtney:

Courtney was raised in Houston, Texas and her family relocated to the Rogue Valley in 1983, so she definitely considers herself an Oregonian.  Two years ago, she fell in love with the Willamette Valley and now calls Eugene home. Courtney has two children and comes from a very large extended family.  In her spare time, she loves to read, listen to music, take her dogs on walks and watch movies.  From working at Oregon Shakespeare Festival to McKenzie Brewing Company, Courtney has worked with the public for over 30 years, and is now excited to be joining Bon Vivant!

Please contact us at Lisa@bonvivantpromotions.com if you would like to start (or resume) your demos in the Eugene area!
